By this point, all the days were definitely starting to blur together and I wasn’t entirely sure where would end up sleeping for the night. After our 3 nights in Kruger, we got complimentary accommodation at a lodge in Hoedspruit which was just amazing. Huge double bed and so wonderful to once again have an en-suite bathroom.
After this, we headed to Forever Resorts Blyde River Canyon. I had stayed at this resort years before, but it was still just as nice as I remembered. We were really loving the Forever Resorts, because we could always count on them to have a shop where we could buy supplies and clean toilets. We actually ended up even doing some washing in their campsite washing machine. This particular resort also had swimming pools as well, so we tried to make ourselves as hot as possible during the day to spend the afternoon swimming.
This actually worked out pretty well, as we hiked God’s Window, went to Lisbon Falls, Mac Mac Falls, Pilgrim’s Rest, Berlin Falls and I feel like there was a few others. My memory tends to fail me when we go to more than 3 places in one day. I really loved travelling around Mpumalanga though. Even just driving past all of the forests with the trees towering above us was awesome.

Mpumalanga has always got this chilled, out in nature feel about it and even though we were rushing off to our next stop for the day, it was nice to take a break and do my video journal for the day on a rock overlooking the three rondawels.
